Joseph Ballard has been playing tennis since he was in high school and has hardly missed a day playing since then.  He started out helping at Sierra View to get more experience and playing time.  He then moved on to become an assistant coach for the boys and girls high school teams, where he found his passion was not only playing but also teaching tennis.  Joseph is the new Junior Coordinator at Sierra View and Assistant Teaching Pro.

In addition to playing and teaching tennis, Joseph is also an Eagle Scout and certified EMT.

Steve is certified as a Tennis Professional by the USPTA and the United States Professional Tennis Association. Steve's passion and dedication for the game of tennis has contributed to building the program over several years and continues to provide an environment for all ages to discover the game and refine their skills to continue playing for years to come. Steve is a 3 time California Community College Women's Coach of the year, and the 2018 ITA National Community College Coach Of The Year!
